This shouldn't particularly surprise anyone. The radical left has always supported terrorism,dictatorship and violence in the middle east. Initially at the behest of the Soviet Union, which of course armed Egypt, Syria and others to send against Israel. They do it now, because they don't know any better. If gigantic baby-devouring aliens from space landed, the radicial left would side with them, against the United States.
