Defending Denmark

Even as the Germans put a person in jail for "offending Islam", folks are standing up to defend free speech. Not the mass media of course, but I think we've ruled them out at this point anyway. Hitchens (much referenced here on DKrepublic, I've been a fan since his "Why Orwell Matters",) is holding a demonstration of support outside the Danish Embassy. Today in fact. So if you happen to be in the DC area, by all means show up. That's what I'd do. (if I had to call in sick with a Dhimmitude allergy flare-up, so be it.)
