YOU SNUCK ACROSS A BORDER IN THE TRUNK OF A CAR! Explain to me how that's not criminal? Last time I checked, you don't have to SNEAK when you aren't BREAKING THE LAW. In any other country in the world, I'm sure if you try to hide in the trunk of someone's car while coming across the border, the chances are you're going to get gunned down. People who know me know I don't get terribly excited about the immigration debate. But at least have the common decency to admit that you're breaking the law. If you honestly believe its an unjust law, than break it. But face the consquences. That's how civil disobedience works.
This is a Republic. It's supposed to operate under the Rule of Law, not the rule of The Baboon, The Boogeyman and Tweety Bird.

So David, when the DK Republic becomes a state of its own, how will you handle those that sneak into your country?
Assuming they make it past the razorwire, attack dogs, and machine gun nests?
Illegal aliens (sorry, undocumented workers) will be immediately deported, any assets they have being seized to pay the cost of transporting them. Companies employing illegal immigrations will be fined for the first attempt (I haven't decided on a fine amount. It may have to vary based on the number of employees.) And serve 3 years mandatory jail time for second offenders, and 6 year terms of third time offenders (I can't imagine there would be any).
However legal immigration will be much easier. Companies will be allowed to register with the DKR's State Department as a company which hires foriegn labor. (for those jobs which are often migratory, like agriculture, companies could be created which specialized in providing labor, which would carry out the paperwork, and than bring their employees to the prospective farms)From time to time, companies will be checked for compliance with all applicable labor laws.
