Media Bias...
And Proud of it.
Incredible. They trumpet their "progressiveness" (lexicon: Progressive liberal who doesn't want to be called liberal). But yet their proud that they aren't influenced by Wall Street like it means they are some how unbiased. Ah.. yes Wall Street where you have stockholders you're ultimately responsible too, and who if offended by your incompetence get rid of you. How very progressive of them. "Hurray for us, we are unpressured by the demands of actually putting out a product that people want, or need, or is viable in anyway."
Jeez.

David...while I agree with your view of this job and of this paper. While they may claim to not be influenced by Wall Street, I bet once an advertiser or politician goes to the ownership with a complaint about you, you'll be asked to or told to back off. So while they may not answer to Wall Street, they answer to someone.
I would rather work for a company that answered to Wall Street then someone that could be bought by the biggest advertiser or politician in the community.
